  • Our story

    We founded FIDRA with a dream to create a delicious dry gin using botanicals which grow locally along Scotland’s East Lothian coastline, where we live.

    Our gin is named FIDRA after the small but beautiful island just off the coast at North Berwick, well known for its connection to Robert Louis Sevenson’s Treasure Island and its links to gin smuggling in the 1800s.

    Using our local coastal botanicals FIDRA is expertly crafted by Stuart McVicar at The Biggar Gin Co.
